Short answer:
– 1Password Teams Starter Pack is the simplest flat-price option: $2.49 per user per month billed yearly, which includes 10 members, up to 20 total (a flat $24.95 a month for the first 10 people). It’s the cheapest option here from 7 people up (check the plan comparison on 1Password’s page for features).
– Bitwarden Teams is the cheapest for very small teams: $4 per user per month billed annually, and it lists directory sync and SCIM provisioning. For 5 people that’s $20 a month.
– Keeper Business Starter is built for 5 to 10 seats and includes a free Family plan for each user, but its price didn’t show on the page we could read, so we can’t quote it.
– 1Password Business ($8.99 per user per month billed yearly) and Bitwarden Enterprise ($6) matter when you need single sign-on (SSO) and advanced controls, which most teams under 10 don’t.
This comparison is research-based. Prices and features come from each vendor’s official pages, checked on October 17, 2026, in USD before tax. We have not deployed these products for a team, so use the free trials to test sharing and onboarding. We left out Dashlane and NordPass prices because we could not verify them on the official pages (see the note near the end).

1Password Teams Starter Pack: flat price for up to 10 people
What it costs (checked Oct 17, 2026): the Starter Pack shows $2.49 per user per month, billed yearly, with the plan including 10 members, up to 20 total. 1Password’s FAQ calls it “a flat monthly price” that “includes 10 members,” with up to 10 additional seats at per-member pricing. Those extra seats are $4.99 per seat per month, billed annually. The Starter Pack is a flat $24.95 per month, or $299.40 per year billed annually ($2.49 per user shown with 10 members).
What you get: the plan card lists shared passwords and sensitive data, actionable security alerts, role-based access, developer tools (SSH key signing, Git commit signing, CLI, SDKs), and support and onboarding resources. The feature table lists 5 guest accounts on the Starter Pack and 20 on Business. It shows SOC 2 Type II certification and independent third-party audits.
What’s on Business instead: $8.99 per user per month billed yearly, 1-user minimum. Per 1Password’s page, it adds identity-provider integrations (Okta, Entra ID, OneLogin, Duo), Watchtower alerts, expanded role-based vault sharing, SSO, user provisioning, custom reports, and a free Families plan for every user; check the plan comparison on 1Password’s page for what each plan includes.
Pros: flat price for up to 10 people; 14-day trial with no credit card; developer tools.
Cons: you pay for 10 seats even if you have 4 people; SSO listed only for Business; seat-add pricing wasn’t on the page we read.
Bitwarden Teams: lowest price per person for tiny teams
What it costs (checked Oct 17, 2026):
– Teams: $4 per user per month billed annually. Lists secure credential sharing, event logs, directory sync, and SCIM provisioning.
– Enterprise: $6 per user per month billed annually. Adds granular access control, passwordless SSO integration, enterprise policies, the option to self-host, Access Intelligence risk remediation, and a free Families plan for all users.
– Free and personal plans: a free account exists, with sharing of items to one other user. Premium is $1.65 per month ($19.80 billed annually) and Families is $3.99 per month for up to 6 users ($47.88 billed annually).
– Trial: both business plans offer a free trial; the page says 14 days.
The pricing page doesn’t state a minimum number of seats for Teams, so confirm that at signup. Bitwarden’s page also shows its open-source security work, but we haven’t reviewed it independently.
Pros: the lowest per-user price here for teams of 3 to 7; free tier exists; directory sync and SCIM listed on Teams.
Cons: the free Families benefit for staff is Enterprise only; SSO is Enterprise only; minimum seats not on the page.
Keeper Business Starter: built for 5 to 10 seats
What it is (checked Oct 17, 2026): Keeper lists a Business Starter plan for 5 to 10 seats and a Business plan with a 5-seat minimum. Both list an encrypted vault for every user, unlimited devices, password sharing, folders and subfolders, shared team folders, a password and passphrase generator, an admin console, a policy engine, team management, basic two-factor authentication, a risk management dashboard, and security audit. Keeper also says each plan includes a free Family plan for every user, and offers 24×7 support through live chat and email. Business adds delegated administration, and the Enterprise plan adds SCIM provisioning and Entra ID integration.
The gap: the price fields were blank on the page we could read, so we can’t quote Keeper’s price. Check Keeper’s pricing page directly before comparing.
Pros: a plan built specifically for 5 to 10 seats; free Family plan for every user.
Cons: price not verifiable here; SCIM and Entra ID are Enterprise features.
What about Dashlane and NordPass?
We’re not putting a price on either one. Dashlane’s business pricing page, as we fetched it today, showed placeholders instead of dollar amounts, although a previous review found Omnix Password Management at $8 per user per month billed annually. NordPass’s prices weren’t readable on its official page by our tools. Both may be good products, but we won’t quote numbers we can’t verify. If you want to compare them, check their live pages.

– 1Password Business: 5 x $8.99 x 12 = $539.40/yr
